Research Interests

I began to work in the field of quantitative medical imaging and decision support systems during my master studies in Germany. I decided to pursue a career in this topic as PhD candidate in quantitative imaging at the Netherlands Cancer Institute (Amsterdam, the Netherlands) under the supervision of Prof. R. Beets-Tan and Dr. H. Aerts (Data-Farber Cancer Institute). My research topic focuses on computer decision support systems in medicine, including Radiomics and deep learning. The aim of my research is to contribute in promoting personalized medicine in cancer by reproducible data analysis and decision support systems.
