Research Interests

I am a medical student at Yale University, spending my research year at Harvard Medical School, as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Fellow in the Computational Imaging and Bioinformatics Laboratory (CIBL). My background is in Biomedical Engineering and management consulting in the medical devices industry. As an undergraduate at Duke University, I conducted research through the Pratt Engineering Research Fellows program with a focus on medical imaging. I helped develop the first volumetric shear wave tracking capability in acoustic radiation force impulse imaging (ARFI). I hope to integrate my training in both engineering and medicine to come up with viable solutions for clinical problems. My current research interests are centered on the application of novel machine-learning based image analysis algorithms for the assessment of solid tumors and the development of accurate prognostic models.
