Radiomics: Converting medical images in minable data

“Radiomics” goes deeper into the analysis of these medical images (e,g. CT, PET, or MRI), and refers to the extraction and analysis of large amounts of advanced quantitative imaging features with high throughput. Converting these images in useful data, will have an impact in personalized medicine, where the treatment can be tailored towards patient specific characteristics.
