Research Interests

I used to be a software engineer working for IBM and SAS institute for a total of six years before going to medical school. I’m interested in using computational methods to analyze genomic data, CT-PET scan and functional imaging (e.g. MRI perfusion scans)  to evaluate genetic and image predictors of clinical outcomes, tumor response to radiation and radiation toxicity. My research interests in data mining also include automatic data extraction, database creation, merging and analysis.
